DEVELOPING THE SPIRIT OF AN ARMORBEARER

Every child of God needs to develop the character of an armorbearer, no matter what level of responsibility they are on. We need development of the character of Christ in the Body of Christ. Faith, prosperity and intercession have been taught strongly, but we must place more emphasis on character development. Because of lust for power, money and sex, we hinder God's power. These things have and will continue to destroy ministries around the world unless we as leaders crucify the flesh!! We must develop this spirit to over come the spirit of the world. Notice the list of steps to follow.

1. GET FREE FROM PRIDE (Ja. 4:6)

Pride is revealed by:

a. the independent spirit

b. refusal to admit mistakes

c. unteachable spirit

d. rebellious attitude toward authority

e. a proud countenance

f. an extremely self-centered conversation

g. intolerance of others mistakes

h. a bossy attitudes

GET FREE FROM ANGER (Pr. 16:32)

Evidence of anger includes:

a. temper tantrums (at any age)

b. angry reactions to supposed injustice

c. frustration expressed over unchangeable circumstances

d. great sensitivity and touchiness

GET FREE FROM IMMOROLITY (2Co. 7:1)

A spirit of impurity is evidenced by:

a. sensual conversation

b. reading of impure materials

c. impure attitudes and improper actions toward members of the opposite sex.

d. desires to listen to sexual music

e. dress or sensual body language

f. having a carnal curiosity

GET FREE FROM BITTERNESS (He. 12:15)

Bitterness is evidence by:

a. critical or sarcastic talk

b. inability to trust people

c. frequent illness

d. self-pity

e. a sad countenance

We all need to judge ourselves in order to "BREAK" Satan's power in our lives in these areas. We must be pleasing to God, and be the light of the world. Leading a life that is above reproach, giving ourselves totally and freely one for another will accomplish this. We, are armorbeares, are to carry the shield for another, joining out faith together. We will truly become God's Army if we will do this. In this manner, we will go forth and conquer by the power of the Holy Spirit.

God has given us a great harvest, that is laying just in front of us. In order to fulfill God's call on our lives, we must have help from each other. Now is the time for the church of Jesus Christ, every member, to come into "the unity of the faith" (Eph. 4:13). God is saying to the Church, "Here is your opportunity."

There is a great harvest all over the world. Billy Graham was in Hungary preaching the Gospel. Over one hundred twenty thousand (120,000) people crowded into a soccer stadium to hear the Gospel. Multitudes were saved, so many in fact that it was impossible to get literature to all of them individually!! They so desired it, pushing forward to get the literature, it had to be taken and just thrown to the spiritually starved crowds.

This move of the Holy Spirit is so much greater than the charismatic renewal of the 1970's AND 80'S. it is greater than any denomination or church group or organization on earth. Christians must link together, working in joint effort to reach the masses. We have to come to understand our anointing, authority, and assignment, and then flow with each other and with God's Spirit.

If you haven't accepted Christ as your Savior simply say in an audible voice, in all sincerity from the depths of your heart, "Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me of my sins and accept me as Your child. I accept You as my personal Savior and I promise to follow the instructions of Your Word from this day on. If I fail because I am human, please help pick me up so I can try again! Thank you, Jesus, for saving me from all my sins. AMEN."
